Scheduling & dispatch
Build the day once, and the trucks already know.
Assign trucks and crew on the dispatch board and the whole day appears in the crew app — addresses, inventory, checklists, and the Bill of Lading. Change something at 6am and the truck has it before it pulls out.

What changes when dispatch is one board
One version of the day
A change made in the office is on the truck straight away. No group text, no ringing round three crews to tell them the 9:30 moved, no crew working from a plan that changed an hour ago.
The crew arrives already briefed
Addresses, the inventory from the estimate, and the job's checklists are in the app before they leave the yard — so the first ten minutes on site aren't spent on the phone to you.
You can see the week filling up
Which days are tight, which trucks are idle, which jobs still need a crew. Enough to know whether to take the Saturday job before you say yes to it.
Running the schedule
Everything the office does to a job shows up on the truck, and everything the truck does shows up back in the office.
Assign trucks and crew where you can see the whole day
Jobs, trucks, and movers on one board, so the conflicts are visible before they become a Saturday morning phone call. Unlimited users and crew — Zip is priced on completed moves, not on how many people touch the system.
- Trucks and crew assigned per job
- Unassigned jobs stay visible until they're covered
- No per-seat fee, so everyone who needs access has it
Changes reach the truck immediately
A time change, an added stop, a swapped crew member — the crew app updates. The office and the field are looking at the same job rather than two copies of it drifting apart.
- Crew app reflects office changes straight away
- The job carries its own addresses and inventory
- Checklists and paperwork travel with it
Oversee it from wherever you are
The owner app shows the same board. Off the truck, at your kid's game, or on the way to a sales call, you can still see whether today is going to plan — which is the whole reason Zip built an app for the owner and not just the crew.
- The day's jobs and crews on your phone
- See progress without ringing the crew
- Same view for you and your dispatcher
The rest of Zip works the same way
Nothing here is an add-on or a higher tier. Every feature below is included on every plan, and they all read from the same job — so nothing gets re-typed between them.

Questions about scheduling and dispatch
How do I dispatch a crew in Zip?
Assign the truck and the movers to the job on the dispatch board. The job appears in the crew app for everyone assigned, carrying the addresses, the inventory from the estimate, the checklists, and the Bill of Lading. Not sure how many movers a job needs? The free crew and truck sizer gives a starting point from the home size.
What happens when a job changes after I've dispatched it?
The change goes to the crew app straight away. There is one version of the day, so nobody ends up working from a plan you updated an hour ago.
Is there a limit on how many crew I can add?
No. Users and crew are unlimited on every plan. Zip's tiers are based on how many moves you complete in a month, not on how many people use the software.
Can my dispatcher run this without me?
Yes — and you can still see everything they do from the owner app. That combination is exactly what Zip is built for once an owner steps off the truck.
Try it on your next move.
Request a demo and a real person walks you through Zip — most movers are quoting, booking, and getting paid within the hour of switching.
